Continuing Competency
Policies and Procedures for the Continuing Competency Board (continued)
Those requesting pre-approval of seminars, conferences or workshops, must submit a formal request within 30 days of Conference date. This includes all Chapter Conferences.
The following must be submitted to the CCBKT for approval:
1. Course objective
2. Course outline including time frame, content and instructor credentials
3. Sample evaluation form
The CCBKT will make every attempt to provide pre-approved continuing education.
Advertisement for pre-approved coursework will be published in Mobility and on the AKTA website.
It is the sole responsibility of the individual RKT to report changes of addresses to either office listed below. The CCBKT will not be held responsible for information that can not be forwarded to those individuals who do not maintain his or her current contact information with this office.
Once Registration has been revoked, an individual must pass the Kinesiotherapy Registration exam to be placed back in good standing.
**Note The Continuing Competency Board for Kinesiotherapy (CCBKT) does not allow for back paying of CEU's beyond the Probation III status.
